Description

The formation of proplatelet and platelets from a megakaryocyte reminded me a lot of the fluid shape-shifting transformations of the Marvel character “Venum”. As a result, I drew a lot of texture and lighting inspiration from the 2018 film. It was a lot of fun to transform 2D reference images from journal articles into this image!
