Description

This project was completed when I was still a student finishing my graduate studies. I was generously funded with an Educational IT Summer internship. I explored how to extract models from DICOM data, NURBS modelling, and using rigged human models from DAZ studio. The animation details the operative techniques and perioperative considerations employed by the University of Toronto's, Division of General Surgery, for the safe and effective performance of a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. It provides a step-by-step breakdown of the procedure while highlighting important technical skills and anatomic landmarks.
